Alliant Systems Hosts Successful Training and Networking Event

Alliant Systems was pleased to host 25 customers at our headquarters in Irving, TX, on April 10th and 11th, 2024, for two days of training and networking. Building on the success of training introduced at AlliantCon23, where demand exceeded capacity, we were thrilled to bring back these highly requested classes, ensuring every customer had the opportunity to participate. Over the course of both days, attendees experienced numerous "ah-ha" moments as we explored strategies for maximizing the efficiency of the Alliant System.

Day One: Empowering Alliant Power Users

The focus of the first day was our Alliant Power User Training: Office & Customer Service. This session catered to individuals who interact with Alliant on a daily basis, managing tasks such as setting up accounts, customers, and items within the system. Participants engaged in lively discussions covering various topics, including account and customer management, template utilization, transaction codes, price types, and invoice adjustments. These discussions were designed to equip attendees with time-saving techniques, ultimately leading to a more efficient utilization of the Alliant System.

Following a day of intensive training, attendees unwound at Stumpy’s Hatchet House, enjoying two hours of axe-throwing excitement! Amidst abundant food and drinks, attendees bonded over their newfound skills - or lack thereof.

Day Two: Mastering Alliant System Setup and Best Practices

The second day centered around Alliant Admin Training: System Setup and Best Practices, tailored for individuals tasked with overseeing all aspects of the Alliant System. From system setup and user management to configuration settings, participants delved into best practices aimed at unlocking the system's full potential. Discussions were animated, covering crucial topics such as SKU maintenance, price adjustment functionalities, codes, revenue classes, and supergroups. A highlight of the day was the enlightening Tips & Tricks session, where attendees discovered invaluable shortcuts, with Shift + F1 proving to be a game-changer for many Alliant users.
